Super Sunny 5K & Walk
On Saturday, June 8th, Garden Center Services will hold its inaugural 5k and annual Walk N’ Roll-a-thon. This event brings together over 300 friends, families, and agency advocates to raise funds that help maintain the daily supports we provide to persons with developmental disabilities. The race will begin at 81st & Oak Park Ave. (1 block east of the Newcastle Rec Center) in Burbank and will end at the entrance of the Newcastle Rec Center parking lot. The race will be professionally timed with chronomix computerized timing. Race Day registration will be available from 7:30-8:45 am at Newcastle Park. Event t-shirts are included with the registration fee but will be guaranteed only for those who register by May 24th. Packet pick up will be 9-5 on Friday, June 7th at Garden Center Services - 8333 S Austin Road, Burbank, IL. Awards ceremony with refreshments will take place after race ends.
